The following Products and Services are available within our facility:

Flow Cytometry

BD Accuri

BD Accuri

The Accuri is equipped with two 20mW lasers (488nm and 552nm) and 6 parameters for detection, which include 2 light scatter parameters (forward scatter and side scatter) and 4 parameters for acquiring fluorescence.

BD FACSAria

BD FACSAria

The BD FACSAria is a benchtop high-speed cell sorter equipped with five lasers (375nm, 405nm, 488nm, 561nm, and 633nm) for excitation and 18 parameters for detection, which includes 2 light scatter parameters (forward and side scatter) and 16 fluorescence parameters. Three sizes of nozzles (70, 85 and 100 micron) are offered to accommodate a wide range of particle sizes.

BD Fortessa

BD Fortessa

The Fortessa is equipped with four lasers (405nm, 488nm, 561nm and 635nm) and 15 parameters for detection, which includes 2 light scatter parameters (forward and side scatter) and 13 fluorescence parameters. This instrument can be connected to the optional High Throughput Sampler (HTS) unit to accommodate automated specimen handling for 96- and 384-well plates.

BD Fusion

BD Fusion

The BD Fusion is a state-of-the-art cell sorter equipped with five dedicated lasers (355nm, 405nm, 488nm, 561nm, and 637nm) for excitation and 20 parameters for detection, which includes 2 light scatter parameters (forward and side scatter) and 18 fluorescence parameters. The Fusion sits inside a custom designed biosafety cabinet to address the concerns of biological safety issues and to protect operators from potential accidental exposure from biological samples.

Cytek Aurora

Cytek Aurora

The Aurora is capable of up to 51 detection channels (48 fluorescent channels, FSC, blue laser
SSC, and violet laser SSC)
Proprietary high sensitivity Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) semiconductor detector
arrays, enabling more efficient spectrum capture for dyes emitting in the 420-830 nm range.
High bandwidth electronics design scalable beyond 51 channels.
Robust vacuum fluidics system enables ultimate flexibility in sample input formats.
Exceptional small particle detection is enabled by violet laser scatter, narrow beam height, and proprieta of detection.

FlowJo

FlowJo

FlowJo is a software package for analyzing flow cytometry data. Files produced by modern flow cytometers are written in the Flow Cytometry Standard format with an .fcs file extension. FlowJo will import and analyze cytometry data regardless of which flow cytometer is used to collect the data.

ImageStream

ImageStream

The Amnis ImagestreamX is a multi-spectral imaging flow cytometer equipped for the acquisition of 6 channels of cellular imagery. The ImageStream combines single cell information content provided by standard microscopy with the statistical significance afforded by the acquisition of large sample sizes common to standard flow cytometry. Fluorescence intensity measurements are acquired in the same fashion as a conventional flow cytometer, however, with the ImageStream, users are able to locate and quantitate the distribution of signals on, or within cells, or between cells, in cell conjugates.
